- € 3,50 adults
- € 3,00 adults in groups of 16 or more persons

- € 1,60 pupils while participating in a guided tour or a museum-for-schools-programme (2 attendants free)
- € 8,00 families
- € 2,10 persons entitled to reduction
Entitled to reduction are (proof necessary):
students (except retired persons who are studying), trainees, conscripts, persons doing civilian services, persons doing a gap year in voluntary social/environmental work, persons who are 80 % and more severely handicapped (1 attendant free), persons on social welfare
The LWL-Museum-Card is only valid for the permanent exhibition.
Handicapped Persons
The museum is built accessible for handicapped persons.
Combined ticket with German Railways (“Deutsche Bahn”)
From August 1, 2006 the museum and German Railways offer a combined train and admission fee-ticket for single persons and for groups up to five persons.
It entitles to use all public transport in the traffic union Rhine-Ruhr (VRR, “Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr”) respectively in Northrhine-Westphalia and to visit the museum inclusive the special exhibition “climate and man. life in eXtremes” – and this to an up to 77 % reduced admission fee!
