The entrance is situated in the cube-like building at the Europaplatz, opposite the Kreuzkirche (Holy-Cross-Church) and the underground station.

Underground: U 35
Busses: 303, 311, 312, 323, 333, 362, 367
Stop: Archäologie-Museum/Kreuzkirche
 
Train: You can reach Herne by train as well. The station Herne is about a 15 minutes-walk away from the museum. You can also take the train to Bochum Main Station and then change into the underground no. U 35 (see above).
 
Car-drivers: The museum has no car park. Please use the multistorey car park behind the museum.
Information for car-drivers with navigation system: you possibly have to enter “Bahnhofstraße 1” as target adress, because the name “Europaplatz” only exists since May 2002.
